RE-STYLE - Style and design for your home

As an artist I believe that design, composition and colour are very important when it comes to selecting and arranging things in our homes. If you’re feeling uninspired by your space, a little style and design service can go long way. You might not feel confident enough to make changes - or maybe you just need a fresh pair of eyes to help you see new possibilities for your space.

Whether your possessions are old or new, basic or expensive - getting them looking their best might be as simple as rearranging the furniture, changing your curtains or introducing some new colours. Sometimes making small changes with the things that you already have can make a big difference.

When helping you to style your spaces I consider:

  1. *Your taste - whether your look is traditional, contemporary, minimalist or eclectic, I can help you find new ways to style your rooms to best effect

  2. *Your lifestyle - it’s important that your home is comfortable and practical and reflects the way you and your family actually live

  3. *Your budget - buying new furniture or decor items can make a big difference, but there are plenty of options to explore that are cheap or free!

  4. *Creating a positive atmosphere - this varies depending on the room, but might involve finding storage solutions for messy spots, streamlining high traffic areas, screening off unattractive views, placing furniture more effectively, choosing uplifting colours for the walls, accessorizing  with rugs, curtains, cushions and art work - it’s all about making you feel good in your space

  5. *Feng shui - this ancient philosophy of balancing and harmonizing helps us to understand the flow of natural energies in our home and the  effect those energies have on our health, wealth and happiness. By using basic principles of Feng shui I can help you to create a home that will ‘flow well’, feel more restful and support your needs, goals and aspirations.

We can also try combining your old favorites in new ways, put together outfits that fit and flatter your body-shape and identify any gaps. Re-organising your clothes according to colours helps make your wardrobe look great, and makes it easier to find what you want.
